NEWS: ✨ Gamer.nl: Graid Technology SupremeRAID™️ SR-1010 Specs & More
“SSD specialist Graid has launched the world’s fastest NVMe-oF card, SupremeRAID SR-1010, a PCIe 4.0 SSD card with bandwidths up to 110 GB/s and comes with support for a wide variety of RAID setups and up to 32 physical drives.”
The SupremeRAID SR-1010 becomes the world’s fastest NVMe-oF card, with support for a wide variety of RAID setups and up to 32 physical drives. GRAID’s new card drives the SSDs itself, using a built-in GA106 GPU from Nvidia. The same Ampere chip also controls professional video cards such as the RTX A2000.
For GRAID, the announcement marks the second iteration of its NVMe-oF products. The previous SupremeRAID SR-1000 was like a network-driven add-in card for NVMe SSDs, but it ran on the PCIe 3.0 interface and came with Nvidia’s older TU117 GPU. With the upgrade, the updated model consumes 20 percent more power (up to about 70 watts), but on the other hand offers faster and scalable PCIe 4.0 storage for data centers and servers, for example.
