VIDEO: Review of Graid Technology SupremeRAID™ by Informática Sin Limites

Informática Sin Limites: Graid SupremeRAID™ SR-1010 | GPU-SSD with up to 110,000 MB/s speed.

Watch the Graid SupremeRAID™ SR-1010 Review [Spanish] or read the article below.

Graid Technology announced the launch of the world’s fastest SSD, the SupremeRAID™ SR-1010 , and well, you have it easy, as it looks more like a graphics card than an SSD, and this is because it takes advantage of the PCI-Express 4.0 x16 interface. for adding multiple NVMe PCIe 1.4 storage drives on a PCB in a RAID configuration for blazing data transfer speeds. To this is added that inside there is an Ampere graphics chip from an Nvidia A2000 to improve its performance, which adds computing power and frees the CPU from processing the I/O load when used as its controller.

According to the company, this drive can reach sequential write speeds of up to 110,000 MB/s (110 GB/s), while the write speed drops considerably to 22,000 MB/s (22 GB/s). When it comes to 4K random read we are talking about a performance of up to 19,000,000 IOPS , while the write will be up to 1,500,000 IOPS .

As we mentioned, the Graid SupremeRAID™ SR-1010 looks like a GPU, because it occupies no less than two PCI expansion slots , it is cooled by a blower fan to force all the airflow to pass through the SSD storage units and be expelled to the outside of the chassis, it supports up to 32x NVMe SSD storage units, it supports RAID 0, 1, 5, 6 and 10 configurations, it will draw a maximum power consumption of 70W, and if you want to fall behind with the price, you just have to wait a couple of days, since it is expected to be launched on the market on May 1.
